Lake Huron is the 2nd
largest of the Great Lakes and the 3rd largest fresh
water lake in the world. Lake Huron has a surface
area of over 23,000 square miles and an average depth of 197
feet, with a maximum depth of 753 feet. Lake Huron
has the longest shoreline of the Great Lakes, counting
the shoreline of it's 30,000 + islands.
