Fishing Species:  Specializing in Trophy Brook Trout.  Walleye, Northern Pike and Lake Trout also caught.

At Poplar Point on the east shore

At Gull Bay and Chief Bay on the west shore

Lake Notes:  Max depth of 164 m.  490+ Islands.  Worlds largest Brook Trout caught here at over 14 lbs.  Lake Nipigon drains south into Lake Superior thru the Nipigon River.  Lake Nipigon is 90+ miles long and 64 miles wide.  The lake freezes in late December and the ice breaks up in late April to early May.
